Cheeks! was a student showcase at Night Owl Circus Arts highlighting the studio’s burlesque, pole, and chair classes. It was held in conjunction with an Instructor Showcase Gala to celebrate Night Owl’s 10th anniversary. For this show, which I designed and operated, I had access to only 11 SlimPAR fixtures, which I used as front, back, and side light. I also provided a laptop equipped with Chamsys MagicQ and a DMX node, allowing for more complicated lighting effects and cues than is typically possible with this venue’s equipment.
